The Fiddler’s Haiku

Rising in the east
Setting in the west, sunshine
flickers and glitters

The wind chases me
Swimming clouds playing under
the purple sky

Alas, rain appears
Showering the earth with a
bucket of rivers

O come and see that
big arc that covers the large
circle of man's life

The daylight flies on
Gossamer wings following
the winged Pegasus

The evening sneaks
carrying a blanket of
blazing diamonds

Life is like the sun
rising and setting daily
bringing memory

The heart is the soul
of man that is deeper than
the Mississippi

Seasons come and go
Playing and racing with man
O time, fly away!

Sleep now, human
Never wake up from that dream
Rest and be idle
